Welcome to Asbestos Awareness Training.
Asbestos was widely used in Australian buildings, homes, workplaces and products before its health risks became fully understood. Although the use of asbestos was banned in Australia in 2003, asbestos-containing materials are still present in many older buildings and structures across NSW.
A 2-hour essential training covering what asbestos is, where it’s found, its health risks, and how to identify, control, and safely manage exposure in the workplace.
Important: Asbestos awareness training does not qualify a person to carry out licensed asbestos removal or other work requiring specific asbestos training or licensing.
